if you are not matched to your partner you can still click return to main menu to avoid the battle all together. but if you are an Epic rank connecting to a Bronze Rank it will take an additional 7 seconds of searching the game however you can just quit games before they even start. If you are a similar rank you will be extreme quick to connect. This game and it's Leader boards uses cross play combined with steam users and GOG users for these leader board achievements you have to compete with everyone world wide. You must get to the top 1% of all 12 leader boards this game and it's multiplayer is quite unstable. I'm posting this solution because i had to look everywhere and test a fair amount to find anything about this already dying online but I feel I must warn you it may not unlock for you.

I have achieved this personally and have photographic proof of my ranks but still the achievement will not unlock.
